K56flex and x2 file download tests were conducted by retrieving a pair of files from FastNet's FTP server (three hops away). Each product was tested over the highest connect speed achieved. FTP was used to download a non-compressible .zip file and a highly compressible .doc file. Binary file transfer times were used to calculate effective throughput in Kbps.
