• Not enough bandwidth for all forms of video (esp. interactive)
  • Compressed digital movies (1.5 Mbps)
  • Prerecorded video and live programming (3.0 Mbps)
  • Live sports requires 6.0 Mbps
  • HDTV (try 38 Mbps?)
• Single residential broadband pipe can’t support simultaneous broadband connections for interactive services
